Extended Days
Extended Days were created to provide an opportunity for children to stay a few hours beyond their actual preschool day or to add an extra session to their schedule. The extra time gives children opportunities to explore new themes that incorporate science, the arts, and social learning.
Currently our extended day program is limited to one extended afternoon per week. This group, Lunch Bunch, is offered to children in our Prekindergarten classroom on Wednesdays. Children may sign up weekly to stay until 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon.
Our Extended Days includes time for a packed lunch, outdoor play, hands-on classroom experiences, as well as opportunities for creativity through arts and crafts projects.
Sign up information is e-mailed monthly to enrolled parents. The fee is $25 and sign up is on a weekly basis.
